Hey there, fellow data enthusiasts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those who don’t know me, my name is Thuwarakesh Murallie, and I am a BSc (Hons) Statistics (Special) graduate from the University of Peradeniya<\/a>. I also completed the CIMA Strategic Level<\/a> and have several certifications related to Data Science under my belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My career journey has been quite interesting. I started as a Software Engineer and then moved into Finance. Eventually, I joined Stax<\/a>, a Global Mergers & Acquisition consulting firm, where I have been helping clients make the most of their data for the past six years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Data science consulting has allowed me to work with clients across various industries, such as Academia, Healthcare, FMCGs, and Freight & Transport. I’ve had the opportunity to build data pipelines and ML models in productions and used data analytics to drive strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I must say, the past few years have been quite the ride. But the world of data analytics never ceases to amaze me. Every day, I learn something new, and every project I work on presents a unique set of challenges. Yet, the satisfaction of seeing a project come to fruition and knowing that the insights gained can make a real difference in the world makes it all worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m excited to continue sharing my journey in data analytics with all of you through my blog, The Analytics Club.
